It is widely recognised that whilst the large mass producers are noticably reducing their production costs, Hanse are concentrating on improving their build quality and finish, which is really beginning to pay dividends for them.

One of the most inspiring commercial decisions has been to reduce production with the intention of only building yachts needed to fulfill orders and for show boats.

This decision will have the desired effect of strongly protecting the re-sale value of Hanse Yachts, which will no doubt be much appreciated by current owners and will also attract new owners, with the peace of mind that their new pride and joy will hold its value.

A representative of Hanse Yachts reported that they were very happy with the interest and number of confirmed orders directly from the show. They put the success down to the high quality of the Hanse range, which was further assisted by the low interest rates available to finance a purchase.
